These websites are my personal favorites. Businesses that sell goodies that I really like, people that have great attitudes and offer good tips as well as really cool stuff. Check them out and see for yourself! General links can be found in the regular bookmark section.

Once upon a time I learned to paddle a sea kayak thanks to these guys. A great shop located in Jack London Square in Oakland. I pretty much buy all of my paddling gear here and if I have problems I know who to go to. Check them out!

Another great shop but in a different location! During my recent trip to Anacortes I stopped in to see my buddy JT who is now the general manager at this shop. He supplied me with all sorts of good charts and info on paddling the San Juans. I highly recommend you stop in and check it out if you're in the area...hey, even if you're not in the area it's worth a trip up!

This is the premier sea kayaking club in the San Francisco Bay Area. Actually their theme is more of "...an eating club with a kayaking disorder..." which pretty much falls in line with my way of thinking. |

I must say I'm hesitant to put this here since I would rather keep all these great places to myself! Still, gotta share some fun in life. Pancho Doll has created a great resource for finding wonderful swimming holes. Don't just check out the website, buy the book!

Of course I have to have this here. I spend all my extra bucks at REI buying cool stuff for camping and the outdoors. They do offer online sales but I prefer to go to the store...probably costs me more doing it that way but hey, why not!?

The ultimate guide for travel this site offers an incredible amount of information and opportunities to find out about other places. I especially like the Thorn Tree forums!

Our National Parks are incredible places. Each year I buy an annual park pass because I make a point of visiting as many of them as I can each year. Well worth the price of admission.

Another place I really don't want to tell you about but I will. This hot springs is nestled in the hills of Baja just south of the border. A bit difficult to get to but well worth the effort. The campsites are neat and clean with a tub of hot water and a place to pitch your tent. Great hiking nearby with cool swimming holes as well.
