Loonies at the Lake!
Once again the San Francisco Northstars descend upon pristine wilderness to have their way with nature. This time the poor unsuspecting location was Loon Lake! A crack team of dirty bikers lead by Mr. Mike No-More-Rocks Chaplin were able to have some fun on the Rubicon and several other local trails and deer paths. The President of Vice, Ms. Hari-Kari Holmgren, came by sea or at least by sea kayak and did her best to better the boat speed record on the lake in her rum-runner black boat. She also played assistant to former President and all around sweet guy Mr. Earl Life-of-the-Party Minkler by copiloting the Taco Truck on the trail. Food was to be had in copious amounts including Tri-tip, the biggest damn pork-chops I've ever seen, hot and salty potatoes, grilled asparagus and way too many desserts to list here. Oh yeah, I think there was beer! ;) Rumor had it that Earl brought tequila but from what I gather he was too whupped to break it out. What did you do to the poor guy Kari? Glen survived several dunkings in rivers, creeks and giant mud puddles with nary a problem. Alas, your's truly just managed to soak his boots and socks while stalling in critical locations half-way across. Damn rocks! All in all we had a great time!
